Before we start troubleshooting your IntelliScanner hardware, are you running the latest version of the IntelliScanner Software Package? You can download the latest here:

After downloading and installing the latest version, please follow these steps to set up your IntelliScanner barcode reader:
First, unplug your scanner cable from your computer.
Next, launch the IntelliScanner Dashboard and select Setup New IntelliScanner from the Tools menu.
Finally, the built-in IntelliScanner Setup Assistant is designed to automatically recognize and correct common problems with your scanner, drivers and other software. Follow the on-screen steps to reconfigure your IntelliScanner. Please be sure to follow each step carefully. The Assistant will reconfigure your scanner and software installation to automatically resolve any issues you may be having.
Choose "How Do I Scan?" from the IntelliScanner Dashboard to learn how to scan after you're finished with the Setup Assistant.
